WWE Superstar and action movie hero Dwayne Johnson is recovering from emergency surgery he underwent as a result of injuries sustained during his WrestelMania match with current WWE Champion John Cena. Dwayne Johnson let the "millions and millions" of the Rock's fans know he was having emergency surgery via Twitter. Rocky posted a photo of himself in a Superman shirt flexing his muscles. The caption read, "Surgery a success! Dr repaired 3 hernial tears (fun pain). Superman is on the mend.. #WeFallWeRise." According to the Associated Press Dwayne Johnson is now recovering from his emergency surgery at home. Johnson sustained his injuries in a match he fought on April 7 against John Cena. During the match, the Rock tore his abductor muscle. He announced his injury to fans via Instagram and let them know he was rehabbing and getting back in shape. "In the middle of last night's WrestleMania match I tore my abdomen & abductor muscles off the bone. Just part of the job," Johnson wrote. On Sunday, Dwayne Johnson let his fans know about his emergency surgery in true 'The Rock' style, not holding back any of the details. Johnson tweeted that the doctor had to "push my intestines back thru the tear in my abdomen. Kinda romantic." Monday night was the red carpet premier of the Rock's new film costarring Mark Walberg. "Pain and Gain," directed by Michael Bay, hits theaters on Friday. On the red carpet Bay told E! News, "Dwayne's hurt tonight," when asked about the Rock. "He was pushing it too hard. He needs to grow up and stop wrestling 300-pound men." Despite having just had major emergency surgey, Dwayne Johnson doesn't seem to have any plans of slowing things down. According to the LA Times, the Rock has signed on for another action movie by Brett Ratner, Hercules: The Thracian Wars.
