Mariah Carey & Nicki Minaj Exit From American Idol

Randy Jackson has already bowed out from American Idol and Keith Urban isn’t sure of his time left on the show, so it’s no surprise that Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj are both bailing after judging the competition for only one season. Prior to Randy’s departure, we’ve heard that they were all four being fired and replaced as judges. The rumor was that the Idol producers were looking at past Idols to judge the future seasons of the show. Mariah and Nicki both took to their official Twitter accounts to share the news of their exits from the show. Mariah tweeted, “w/ global success of #Beautiful (#1 in 30+ countries so far) @MariahCarey confirms world tour & says goodbye 2 Idol.” Nicki said on Twitter, “Thank you American Idol for a life changing experience! Wouldn’t trade it for the world! Time to focus on the Music!!! Mmmuuuaahhh!!!” We have already had confirmation that Jennifer Hudson is joining the judges’ panel. Who should join her?
